Richard Grondin
On July 22, 2020, Board of Directors of Perma-Fix Environmental Services Inc. elected Mr. Richard Grondin to the position
of Executive Vice President of Waste Treatment Operations and an executive officer of the Company. Since joining the Company
in 2002, Mr. Grondin has held various positions within the Company's Treatment Segment, including Vice President of Technical Services,
Vice President/General Manager of the Perma-Fix Northwest Richland, Inc. ("PFNW") Facility and Vice President of Western Operations.
Mr. Grondin, a Project Management Professional ("PMP"), has over 35 years of management and technical experience in the highly regulated
and specialized radioactive/hazardous waste management industry with the majority of his experience concentrated on managing start-up
waste management processing and disposal facilities for four different organizations in the commercial and government sectors.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Grondin held the position of Vice President of Mixed Waste Operations for Allied Technology Group
("ATG") in Richland, WA; Vice President of Operations for Waste Control Specialists ("WCS") in Andrews TX; and Technical Manager/Director
of Operations for Rollins Environmental Services Facility in Deer Trail, CO. Mr. Grondin is recognized in the United States and
Canada as an authority in hazardous and mixed waste treatment. He has been involved in the treatment of several hundred thousand
tons of waste in the last 35 years. Mr. Grondin has a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Pure and Applied Sciences from CEGEP of Amiante
(Thetford-Mines, Canada) and Analytical Chemistry Techniques from CEGEP of Ahuntsic (Montreal, Canada), Geography minor from
Montreal University (Montreal, Canada) and a Certificate of Business Management from the School
of Higher Commercial Studies from Montreal University (Montreal, Canada).
Andrew Lombardo
Mr. Lombardo has 37 years of experience in radiation protection/health physics and management of radioactive material
sites including CERCLA response, radiological engineering, hazardous and radiological waste characterization, project
management, decontamination and decommissioning (D&D), and environmental remediation. Mr. Lombardo currently serves as
the Senior Vice President of Nuclear Services and as Program Manager for Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc.’s
(Perma-Fix’s) and Safety and Ecology Corporation’s (SEC’s) technical services practice, which provides radiological
services such as NUREG-1757-based decommissioning support and Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation
Manual (MARSSIM)-based remediation support and final status surveys (FSSs) to government and commercial clients in
project settings. Client projects include facility decommissioning remedial actions, field investigations, and ongoing
radiological program support as well as U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DoD), and U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers (USACE) remedial actions and commercial (test reactors) and industrial D&D projects. Mr. Lombardo
manages Perma-Fix’s instrumentation laboratory that maintains 5,000 radiological and industrial hygiene (IH)
instruments for rental and sale and a laboratory that provides commercial instrument repair and calibration services.
He is also an industry expert in the characterization and management of naturally occurring radioactive material
(NORM) and technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive material (TENORM) source terms including mineral
sands mining, mill tailings and other uranium and thorium based radioactive material.
Matthew Molchan
Mr. Molchan is the President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Digirad Corporation, one of the largest national
providers of in-office nuclear cardiology and ultrasound imaging services. Mr. Molchan has held a variety of roles at Digirad
including Chief Operating Officer of Digirad Ultrascan Solutions from May 2007 to January 2012, President of Digirad Imaging
Solutions until January 2013, President of Digirad beginning January 2013, and most recently Chief Executive Officer of
Digirad and a member of Digirad's Board of Directors since July 2013. Prior to joining Digirad, he held various executive
level positions in business development, finance and operations at Ultrascan, Inc., Somera, Inc. and Equifax, Inc. He holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy and a Masters of Business Administration
in Finance from the University of Southern California.
Robert Schreiber
President of Schreiber, Yonley & Associates. He is an internationally recognized environmental engineer with over 25
years of experience. Prior to founding SYA, Mr. Schreiber was Vice President of Lafser and Schreiber Inc. Between 1974
and 1985 he held a variety of positions with the State of Missouri Department of Natural Resources including Director
for Environmental Qualities and Director of Air Pollution Control.
David Waldman
